It was 90 years ago today that Art Clokey was born< Although it is often claimed that Hanna-Barbera’s Ruff and Reddy was NBC’s first Saturday morning cartoon, in truth it was Gumby (Ruff and Reddy was NBC’s first Saturday morning cel animated cartoon).
Retrophilia can be defined as "a love of times left behind;" hence this blog will be dedicated to the movies, TV shows, music books, comic books, et. al. of the past. As to myself, I am a freelance writer (though I don't get paid for it very often) who loves the past.
